Uthama Puthiran Dhanush apologized in a press meet

Danush starrer Uthamaputhiran that's a Diwali release is well among the masses, but some dialogue and some scenes are harmful to Koundar community. Hence the members of the community protest in Salem, Karur and Coimbatore and have stopped screening Uthamaputhiran in some movie halls in that area.

In a press release to conform Danush apologized and said it never intended the team to hurt anybody and he is sorry for that. He asked people not to show in protest to stop because they have invested much money in the movie.

As an immediate action, the two dialogues on community muted and some scenes are removed. These changes are effective in all the cinemas where the cube technology. In the theaters where the UFO technology is used changes will be effective in 2 or 3 days.
