Kamal Haasan's Manmadhan Ambu review

Kamal Haasan starer Manmathan Ambu film is released. Simply the film is a good entertainer. Manmathan Ambu is recommendable to every one who like comedy films. It has a fight too.

The story is so nice. Story, dialog and and lyrics are written by Kamal Haasan. He has proven his excellency once again. The whole story is around an actress. Trisha's role is in Manmathan Ambu is an actress. Madhavan is her fiancée. But, he has doubt that Trisha had sex with her co actor, that is Surya. So, Madhavan send Kamal Haasan as a detective to follow Trisha. Trisha goes on a trip to Cruise with her friend and her children.

Kamal Haasan role is a Indian army Major. He follows Trisha and he helps her to get her lost purse and passport, but without exposing him to her. Kamal's friend has got cancer and need to receive chemo therapy and then surgery. So, he needs a lot of money. That's the reason why Kamal follows Trisha. So that he can get money from Madhavan.

But, as Kamal give a A+ certificate about Trisha, Madhavan refuses to pay him. Then the story gear ups. Kamal says lies that Trisha goes with other guys. So, Madhavan extend the agreement and pay the hospital bills.

In between these Trisha get to know that Kamal's wife had passed away and the reason for that is an accident in which she had involved. Also, a producer with his wife are being around Trisha to get call sheet.

Later, Madhavan decide to terminate the relationship between him and Trisha. Also he goes to Venice to see her. But, Kamal, Sangeetha, and those producer and his wife, plan to cheat Madhavan.

In the climax, how this cheat was neutralized and who join with whom is the end. Manmathan Ambu is a full time comedy entertainer.

Surya acts as an actor and dance a song with Trisha in the opening of the film. Oviya comes as Madhavan's cousin. All the characters have done their job well. specially the kid did very well.

A song was shot with a new idea. I have never seen such idea in any films before. You might have seen a small portion of scene running backward. But, in Manmathan Ambu, they have shot an entire song backward. It was a good thrilling to imagine the scene again in forward direction.

Music for the entire film was good, including the songs. In Manmathan Ambu, Sri Lankan Tamil is also used. Some unique words were used to show that they use Sri Lankan Tamil. That was so nice.

Most part of the film were shot in the cruise. As Ravikumar said earlier, the ship has many rooms in many floors. It has swimming pool, Gum, Restaurant, and much more. You will surely feel that at least for one day you need to stay in that ship.

It is must be stated that in Manmathan Ambu, Kamal has written the story, screen play, dialog and lyrics. There is a scene in that Trisha and Kamal read poem in a song style. That was very nice. Everyone in the theater clapped when they finished that poem. Lyrics were so good.

There is a kissing scene too... A girl and boy (lovers) kisses. This scene is taken in a camera. That's how that scene goes. It was like looking at a semy-durty site. but, not much shown. This scene is also acceptable to be seen by your kids.

Arithu Arithu director Mathivannan introduces newcomers as Uttara Raja and Harish. Aadhi and Meera Nandhan doing the lead roles. Santhanam also in the cast list. Jaya Krishnan produces the film under the banner of JK creations. Mathivannan adds that the film tells the stories of violence and terrorism that hit the papers almost every day now. He says he was disturbed by the idea of people can not come to the streets without fear of losing their lives. He wants to focus the problem that we have much bigger concerns in life than caste.

Mathivannan announces that he has captured the actual location in the film to reflect reality. This film is recorded in Chennai, New Zealand and Australia. With the course of two hours, the film will hit theaters very soon. Film maker adds that they have made a careful examination before they began filming for the movie. He is very keen to show the movie to Shankar, whom he aided in these years, but as a director is busy with projects, would Mathivannan failed to show Sankar, his first job.

Aridhu Aridhu music is done by Thaman, and songs will be released as a brand of Fivestar audios. We hope that the director manages to impress the audience, as well as critics of his first creation Aridhu Aridhu.

Nayanthara's most successful year is 2010 (In all south Indian languages)

The year 2009 was not pretty good for 26 year old actress Nayanthara as she had only one successful release in the form of Suriya starrer Aadhavan. It was released in October and was among the very few successful films of the year. In 2010, Nayanthara made her comeback with a bang.

All films, Nayanthara play a major role in it was a commercial success this year. She had super hit releases in all South Indian languages. The list of her successful tour in 2010 includes a bodyguard in Malayalam, Simha in Kannada, BOSS Engira Baskaran and Simha in Telugu. Boss Engira Baskaran released to extremely positive reviews and has proved to be a blockbuster. On the other hand, Simha turned out to be one of the highest-grossing movies Telugu 2010. Nayanthara received a standing ovation from the audience at the International Film Festival in Goa in India for her spectacular performance in the Malayalam film Electra. Are you working as an assistant director?
Yes. I am working as an assistant to Saravanan who was an assistant to A R Murugadoss. The film is titled Arjunan Kadhali

There is news that you are having lots of girl friends?
Yes. What is wrong in that? But none of them are my lovers as you think.

After Subramaniapuram, you have not given any hit films?
I am also selecting good stories and acting in it. But some of the films did not succeed as expected. My forthcoming films will be a hit because the stories are really very good.

You belong to music family. Will you sing?
So far I have not sung a single song. I have sung only the ‘tracks’. If I get the opportunity I will definitely sing. I love singing.

Did Venkat Prabhu offer you a role in Mankatha?
Many are asking me this question. I am not acting in Mankatha. If at all he calls, I will happily act in it.

What are the films you are currently acting in?
I am acting with Simbhu in Vettai Mannan and also in an untitled film produced by Fox Star Studios and A R Murugadoss Productions. Apart from this I might act in two more films. Talks are going on with regard to this.

When is your marriage?
Only now I am getting good offers and acting in cinema. What is the urgency for marriage now? There are rumors that I am in love with many people and I will get married soon. There is no truth in that news. I am not in love with anyone. I have to achieve a lot of things in cinema. My marriage will take place only after settling myself.

Hit film Myna to be remade in Hindi

Sacred film Myna, which had Vidarth and Amal Paul was directed by Prabhu Solomon. The film was a hit. Prabhu Solomon is planning to remake this film in Hindi.

The film was screened in the 7th International Film in Dubai. Prabhu Solomon, who attended the festival said: "I plan to remake the film in Hindi".

"I have no plans to dub the film in Hindi. I will direct this movie with new faces. I will direct the film in Tamil soon.  Upon completion of the Tamil film, I will follow the Hindi Myna from month of May."

Nayantara willing to quit acting in films?

Nayanthara has begun reducing her films in south cinema. Her films in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada were released recently and they were great hits. For this reason, has become the number one actress of the year. Her salary has also escalated.

My character was also good in the film. I'm dressing role Seetha in the film Ram Rajyam. This film is the story of the Ramayana. Lava Kusa portions are just shot. This film is a remake of an old movie that had Anjali Devi acted. I am doing the role of Anjali Devi in the original version."

The south cinema industry including Tamil cinema is going to loose a good actress as Nayanthara quits acting.

Simbu is met an accident and injured in Vaanam shooting

Simbu is acting in the film Vaanam. Krish is directing this film and Ganesh is producing. Anushkha is the heroine of Vaanam.

Vaanam shooting took place in Adyar, Chennai. The scene was a motor bike riding in high speed. Simbu had driven the motor bike in very high speed. Unfortunately the bike has slipped. Simbu fell down along with the bike. Simbu got injured in his hands and legs.

He was rushed to the hospital immediately and treated there. Now he is discharged and he is in rest at home. Vaanam shooting is cancelled as Simbu met a motor bike accident and got injured.

Kamal has removed a song from Manmathan Ambu

Manmathan Ambu star Kamal Haasan in a statement to his fans told that the song had hurt the feelings of the Hindus is deleted. That song was written by Kamal Haasan.

"Greetings to all my dear dear fans, I've come to know that a song I wrote for Manmadhan Ambu has hurt the sentiments of the Hindus. Manmathan Ambu and that particular songs are censored by the Censor Board and allowed them because the song has no lines which could hurt the feelings of anyone. This song was also broadcast in Vijay TV three times and had a good reception from viewers.

I would have released this film with the song with the Censor Board certification if the film was produced by me. This movie is Red Giant Movies' film. Since this film is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and should be viewed by members of all religions, we had to come to this decision even though thousands of people have enjoyed this song in the television.

In my family there are Vaishnavites, Saivites, Muslims and Christians. Most of them are believers. They're not like me. I am a rationalist and atheist. It is like that and it will remain so.

Manmadhan Ambu is a business. It is also an another person matters. I'm just an artist. I'm not new to political obstacles. This film was made with the intent to entertain. So I've made this decision for this song should not die in the turbulence of politics and religion sacrifice."

It is uncertain that there were any problems between Kamal Haasan and Uthayanithi Starlin.

Will Kaavalan hit the screen at least on Pongal?

Pongal festival season 2011 is getting over crowded in Tamil cinema, as four major films trying to get theater dates. They are Vijay's Kavalan, Dhanush's Aadukalam, Karthi's Siruthai and PA Vijay's Ilaignan written by Chief Minister Karunanidhi. Sun Pictures have confirmed the maximum number of screens for their Vetrimaran's Aadukalam. Ilaignan marketing is taken over by Red Giants, which will make sure the theaters. Studio Green's Siruthai has advantage as they confirmed many screens in November. Now Kavalan has not even started booking screens for the best festival time, but already blocked by others.

These days a big film releases in about 250 to 300 theaters in Tamil Nadu, which claims to have around 1500 screens. But in reality there are only 925 screens suitable for screening. In short Aadukalam, Siruthai and Ilaignan will corner all primes screens especially in small cities like Madurai, Salem and Tirunelveli. Added to these all films, Kamal Haasan's Manmadhan Ambu, Red Giant's own house production will be released for Christmas on December 23. In large centers, the movie can not be stopped 21 days after the release for Pongal releases. This means that the festival time is even harder to give theaters to Kavalan movie.

Meanwhile Sakthi Chidambaram is the man to sort out many unresolved issues of marketing Kavalan with theater association in Tamil Nadu. The producer of Malayalam, Bodyguard Johnny Sagirika has also filed legal complaint that he was not paid for the remake rights in Tamil (Kavalan is a remake of Bodyguard) by its director Siddique. But in the film industry can turn the tide in a few minutes and if all goes well the film has a chance to be released on Pongal.

In America, Manmathan Ambu is to be released in 65 theaters. This is the record for Kamal films. Before this non of Kamal's films filled this much of theaters in America. Kamal has got many fans in America after his film Dhasavatharam.

Mankatha is a upcoming movie in Tamil cinema. Ajith Kumar is doing the lead role. Venkat Prabhu is directing this film. The unit recently finished a shooting schedule in Bangkok. Now the producer of Mangatha has told the director to stop the next schedule until his further notice.

Venkat Prabhu thought that this hold may be for only one week or few, asked the producer again. But, the producer has told him to hold it and he has told that this hold may take few more weeks.

Now, Ajith is playing with kids at home as the production of Mankatha is in trouble.

Vijay's Kaavalan doesn't have theaters to be released

The movie Kaavalan release is in trouble with some problems. Kaavalan is a upcoming Tamil movie in which Vijay and Asin are in lead roles. Siddique has directed the film Kavalan. The last time, when Vijay's Sura was released, Vijay has been exposed to lots of problems. Since his film Sura did not do well in box office, the theater owners demanding compensation for their loss.

They are also protesting that they will not release his new films including Kaavalan. Now Vijay is unable to find theaters for the release of his film Kaavalan. The film Kaavalan was to be released within a few days. This movie should be released during this month, December 2010.

But when Kamal Haasan starer Manmadhan Ambu will be released on 23 December, 2010, it was announced that Kaavalan will be released for Pongal. But again another problem has risen to Kaavalan because Kalaignar's Ilaignyan, Karthi's Siruthai and Dhanush's Aadukalam being released on Pongal day. So, Kaavalan has to compete with those films.

Theaters are already booked for these films. Because of this Kaavalan is not getting theaters. Now a question has been raised, when will Kaavalan will be released? Who knows it?

Director and actor Sundar C has decided to quit acting in films. He has acted in few films. But, non of them gave him a huge success. They run well to cover the cost. Even though they didn't give him a huge name in acting.

Sundar C is basically a director. He has directed many films including Ullathai Allitha, Giri, Anbe Sivam and Winner. He has directed many actors and actresses including, Kamal Haasan, Arjun, Madhavan and Prasanth.

Sundar C first acted in the film Thalainagaram. Thalainagaram was a successful film. So, he continued to act in more Tamil films as a hero. While acting he also did direction is some films. Veerappu, Sandai, Guru Shishyan, Vaadaa and Ayutham Sei are some films in which he did the lead role.

In the recent times, most of his films are failed and thus he has decided to stop acting in movies. He is planing to concentrate more on directing films.

While she has many films in her hand in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam these days, she has no single film in Kollywood and even if they ban her, she would not be affected!

Rajinikanth celebrated birthday at Mohan Babu house

The reason is said that he doesn't like to celebrate his birthday and he wants to be simple. There is another reason said for this habit, Rajinikanth doesn't want to make traffic by celebrating his birthday.

It is usual that Rajinikanth doesn't stay at his house on his birthdays. Mostly he can be found in cinema shooting if he has any shooting on shedule. Otherwise he goes to his friend's house and simply enjoy his birthday with his friend's family.

This year, Mohan Babu and his family got the chance to be with Rajinikanth on his birthday. Rajinikanth went to Hyderabad on 10th via Chennai airport. At Shamshabad international airport he was received by Mohan Babu and then he was spotted at his house while having tea on his birthday.
