The year 2009 was not pretty good for 26 year old actress Nayanthara as she had only one successful release in the form of Suriya starrer Aadhavan. It was released in October and was among the very few successful films of the year. In 2010, Nayanthara made her comeback with a bang.

All films, Nayanthara play a major role in it was a commercial success this year. She had super hit releases in all South Indian languages. The list of her successful tour in 2010 includes a bodyguard in Malayalam, Simha in Kannada, BOSS Engira Baskaran and Simha in Telugu. Boss Engira Baskaran released to extremely positive reviews and has proved to be a blockbuster. On the other hand, Simha turned out to be one of the highest-grossing movies Telugu 2010. Nayanthara received a standing ovation from the audience at the International Film Festival in Goa in India for her spectacular performance in the Malayalam film Electra. My character was also good in the film. I'm dressing role Seetha in the film Ram Rajyam. This film is the story of the Ramayana. Lava Kusa portions are just shot. This film is a remake of an old movie that had Anjali Devi acted. I am doing the role of Anjali Devi in the original version."

The south cinema industry including Tamil cinema is going to loose a good actress as Nayanthara quits acting.

Kaavalan : Vijay vs Siddique problem solved?

Vijay and Asin have the leading roles in Kaavalan, which is a remake of the Malayalam super hit movie Body Guard, which had Dhilip and Nayanthara in the lead roles. Siddique who directed the Malayalam film is directing the Tamil version also. Vidhyasagar has composed the music for Kaavalan.

Vidhyasagar composed a beautiful melody song for Kaavalan and Siddique wanted this song a reel before the climax scene of Kaavalan. But Vijay prefered a Kuthu a song than the melody there. But, Siddique insisted the song melody song.

But ultimately, the editor sorted this issue by saying that no song is needed at that point. But the latest news is that Vijay and Asin had danced for a song which is melody type in the hill region of Pune.

But the unit members of Kaavalan refused to say where this song will be included in the film. The film is to hit the screens in December 2010.

Ramalath is not my wife - Prabu Deva

Prabhu claims that the marriage between him and Ramlath is not legal if it was not registered. He discusses with legal experts to deal with the case brought by Ramlath seeking restitution of conjugal rights on the basis of this claim

His wife is gearing up to combat this statement by collecting all necessary documents like ration card and her children's birth certificates indicating that Prabhu is her husband.

On the basis of the complaint filed by the wife of Prabhu's Ramlath, Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara have been issued court summons through Nadigar Sangam to appear in court on November 23, 2010.
