Prabhu claims that the marriage between him and Ramlath is not legal if it was not registered. He discusses with legal experts to deal with the case brought by Ramlath seeking restitution of conjugal rights on the basis of this claim

His wife is gearing up to combat this statement by collecting all necessary documents like ration card and her children's birth certificates indicating that Prabhu is her husband.

On the basis of the complaint filed by the wife of Prabhu's Ramlath, Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara have been issued court summons through Nadigar Sangam to appear in court on November 23, 2010.
